Admin Panel FAQ

Admin Panel FAQ

1. How do I invite a new user?
From the Admin drop-down at the middle of the top of the screen, select Manage Organizations / Access Codes. Simply drop a user's email and hit send! When the user accepts and joins, their status will go from "Invited" to "Accepted." You may also drop multiple emails separated by a comma into the invite field.

2. How does a user accept an invite?
They may log in to Mediprocity via any browser to accept their invitation. They can download the app and click profile icon in the app to accept as well.

3. What happens if a user doesn’t accept an invite?
If a new user doesn’t respond to an invitation, you may withdraw their invitation and resend the invite. If you are an account administrator who simply needs to add a new user to your organization, you may view their account and override their credentials to accept on their behalf.

4. How do I deactivate a user?
From the Admin drop-down at the middle of the top of the screen, select Manage Organization / Access Codes. Search for the user and deactivate their account by clicking on the deactivation icon on the right side of the screen. Mediprocity helpdesk support will verify your deactivation.

5. Why is a password or encryption key reset not working?
Be sure that you are entering your admin password first and then change the user’s password or encryption key.

6. How can I request more access codes?
Simply click on Add More under Access Codes, or email Mediprocity Support for additional codes.

7. If I deactivate a user, does that increase the number of access codes available on my Mediprocity plan?
Yes, unassigned/available user account access codes will be added back into your Mediprocity plan when you deactivate users. Additional charges may apply if the deactivated user has more than 1GB of files stored in their account.

8. Where can I find information on a deactivated user?
From the Admin drop-down at the middle of the top of the screen, select Admin / Manage Organization / Users, and click on the user's name. You can then access their account.
